We make a welcome return to live music with Omega Three, a musical unit that are a tonic for the life and soul. The line-up is all about friends making music, sharing a unique blend of country, folk, blues, country and jazz, with a style steeped in entertainment and the instant gratification of being in the best of company. Following a successful online gig in the Theatre Royal, Munster Express theatre critic Liam Murphy said ‘This is a band with musical heft’. Liam went on to describe an Omega Three gig as ‘Easy listening to seasoned musicians fronted by Francie White, whohas an amazing country blues voice, with the sort of chops that reminded me fondly of George Melly. For the gig in The Coastguard Cultural Centre, the band will supplement their sound with guitar virtuoso Dylan Bible and the talented Alan Coonagh on sax and clarinet to become Omega Three Extra Strength.
